The colleges of the Alamo
Community College District, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, St.
Philip's College, and San Antonio College, reached a record enrollment of 39,667
credit students in the spring of 1998. An additional 20,000 students take
continuing education courses, making the district the third largest in the state

The Concho Valley Council
of Governments (CVCOG) is a voluntary association of local governments in 13
counties organized in 1967 under authority granted by the Texas Legislature in
1965. The Concho Valley Council of Governments service area includes the
counties of: Coke, Concho, Crockett, Irion, Kimble, McCulloch, Mason, Menard,
Reagan, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, and Tom Green. Membership includes all
thirteen counties and fifteen cities in the service area.

and services HUB of Central East Texas. The Lufkin EDC has a sister organization
that is privately funded representing all of Angelina County “The Lufkin /

The Mission Economic
Development Authority (MEDA) provides services and assistance to businesses
and industries interested in the city of Mission. MEDA oversees the Mission
Expressway Industrial Park, a fully developed 160-acre industrial park, which
has been planned and constructed to provide industrial clients with superior
accessibility and utilities.
North Harris Montgomery
Community College District is a critical link for economic and workforce
development in northern metropolitan Houston and in Harris and Montgomery
Counties, improving the prosperity of the region through partnerships with

The City of San
