The central focus of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute (OU/EDI) is to provide economic development professionals and those aspiring to the ED profession the tools, skills and knowledge to be successful economic developers and positively impact their communities. The Lawton Fort Sill Economic Development Team is a partnership between the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce, Great Plains Technology Center and the Center for Emerging Technologies and Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES) at Cameron University. The ED team focuses on five industry targets to attract new investment and job growth in Lawton and Comanche County.
