Many economic development organizations have well-thought-out strategic and marketing plans. AEDOs – a very select group of economic development organizations that carry the premier designation from IEDC – take their plans a step further with an independent assessment on the strength of their plans. The AEDO application process is rigorous. Marketing plans undergo scrutiny of their ability to communicate their specific value proposition in various formats. Strategic plans are reviewed to ensure key components are clearly articulated and contain measureable, attainable goals. The marketing and strategic plan review processes for AEDOs are particularly hands-on, ensuring that all EDOs which earn the accreditation can sustain a perpetual level of operational excellence.

How would your organization's marketing and strategic plans fair in the review process? Attend this two-part webinar mini-series and learn the key criteria AEDO review teams look for in applications. At the end of these webinars, you'll know how your organization can strengthen its own marketing and strategic plans.

Get answers to the following questions which are tailor-fit to aspiring AEDOs:

• What key elements will make my strategic and marketing plans strong, and does my EDO have the internal capability to develop them?
• What best practices can I immediately apply to my EDO's strategic and marketing plans?
• What else is required in order to apply for the AEDO program, and are there tools and resources which I can access today?
