Simon Leroux

As part of the senior executive team at ROI, Mr. Leroux oversees the company's global sales, marketing and business development strategy and execution.

Prior to joining ROI as a partner, Mr. Leroux worked at Bell Canada Enterprises in a variety of senior executive roles. As part of a special BCE taskforce with McKinsey & Company, he developed a predictive model based on an algorithm that offered advanced segmentation and targeting strategies. He was subsequently awarded BCE's Ovation Award, the highest distinction at the company.

Joining ROI in 2009, Mr. Leroux added a key element to the company by developing ROI's B2B marketing and lead generation practice.

Mr. Leroux's current focus from a strategic perspective includes leveraging big data and AI to improve the company's targeting strategies and identify early signs of corporate growth. He is also actively seeking out and implementing the latest innovations in the field of B2B marketing.

Relevant Experience:

- A certified trainer in the fields of Lead Generation, Investment Attraction, Business Recruitment, International Trade and Business Development, Mr. Leroux has provided strategic consulting to some of the world's leading corporations and Economic Development Agencies.

- Developed a strategic partnership with BNP Paribas to provide international trade and investment services to the BNP Paribas partners in North America, with over 50 consultations provided in the past three years

- Member of core development team of Gazelle.ai, ROI's artificial intelligence-based investment attraction platform

- ROI and Mr. Leroux expertise in digital marketing, B2B sales, lead generation and growth hacking is regularly used by Private Sector companies and Government Agencies such as Salesforce, SAS, Keurig, Aon Hewitt, BMO, BNP Paribas, the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Growth, Provence Promotion and Team Cote d'Azur to name a few.

Rebecca Moudry
Vice President, Economic Development

Rebecca joined ROI Research on Investment in early 2017 as Vice President for Economic Development. As part of the executive team at ROI, Rebecca supports the economic development community in business attraction efforts. She serves on the steering committee of lead generation programs for organizations across the country and across industries to help guide successful implementation. She has also played a key role in creating and delivering lead generation and FDI attraction training programs for economic development organizations, and is a trainer for the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) FDI and Exporting Advanced Course.

Rebecca has 15 years of experience leading economic development and investment promotion programs. Prior to joining ROI Rebecca was a Deputy Director for Investment Services at SelectUSA, the U.S. federal program to facilitate investment in the United States. In this role Rebecca was responsible for leading an international team to promote the United States as an investment destination and serving businesses and U.S. economic development organizations. At the U.S. Department of Commerce Rebecca also worked at the U.S. Economic Development Administration, structuring the first multi-agency challenge program to accelerate regional innovation and job creation.

Prior to joining the U.S. Department of Commerce, Rebecca served in the District of Columbia Office of Planning and Deputy Mayor's Office for Economic Development. She led innovative projects to attract new businesses with a focus on emerging sectors and corridors. As a Senior Associate at the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Rebecca led research and technical assistance programs for communities across the country, and she helped launch IEDC's disaster recovery program to rebuild economies after a disaster. Rebecca's experience includes leading small business and regional competitiveness projects in Latin America through the Inter-American Development Bank and supporting the establishment of the South American subsidiary of The Timberland Company in Santiago, Chile.

Rebecca holds a Master's Degree in Regional Planning with a focus on Economic Development from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. While a native of Southern Oregon, Rebecca calls Washington, DC home.
