July is Disability Pride Month. In recognition of the event, IEDC celebrates the essential role individuals with disabilities play in strengthening our economies and enriching our communities. Our goal as economic developers is to work together to build economies that work for everyone, regardless of visible or invisible disabilities.

As part of the strategic planning process IEDC underwent last year, one of the clearest needs identified by members was to enhance membership value. In response to your feedback and to ensure IEDC membership is accessible to individuals in the economic development profession, we are launching two new membership categories. These new membership categories will enable individuals and emerging leaders who may not belong to an organization that is an existing IEDC member to join IEDC.
