It is not just a designation; it is a description of the way we operate as one of the best!

Accreditation by the IEDC is an acknowledgment of professional excellence, which brings recognition and credibility for our work and the Economic Development Department. It is a stamp of approval on our competence, expertise, and preparedness, and enhances our professional credentials.

Accreditation is a hallmark of the Tulsa Regional Chamber. The AEDO accreditation process gave us the opportunity to see where our strengths and weaknesses were while at the same time receiving an honor that puts our economic development program a step above our peers.

We found that receiving the accreditation has provided us more validity with our clients. We are looked upon as an organization that is experienced and has the resources to rely on and trust for entrepreneurial success.

The AEDO process offers perspective on how we measure up. In Alberta, there are other economic development organizations who are doing amazing work. Having participated in the accreditation, we can now speak firsthand about how much we gained from the experience.

AEDO accreditation gives REDI much greater credibility with our key constituents, including elected officials and the business community. The rigorous review process measures us against the best in the business. It’s a great source of pride for our board, investors, employees, and all those we come in contact with.
