Offered throughout the year around North America, our training courses are the leading source of education for professionals at all levels. Covering both key topics and specialized issues, courses are designed to be interactive and provide an international perspective with a focus on real life experiences, best practices, and tools you can use in your community.

Our carefully selected instructors include some of today's top experts in their fields and represent both the private and public sectors.

Economic Development Academy (EDA) is one of IEDC’s newest professional development initiatives that is designed to make advancing both your career and your organization's goals easier and cost-effective. While this is our second academy of the year, it is also our very first virtual academy. The EDA will feature two blockbuster training courses: Real Estate Development & Reuse and Neighborhood Development Strategies, networking opportunities with fellow attendees (including a virtual happy hour), and a CEcD Exam Essentials workshop that discusses the path to certification led by CEcD veterans.
