Two years ago, Congress brought back the practice of including "earmarks" in federal appropriations bills. Viewed as controversial in previous years, the process to secure the newly named "Community Project Funding" ensures transparency and requires support from local communities. Ridge Policy Group lobbyists, Rebeccah Wolfkiel and Zaida Ricker, will provide an overview of the current process, suggest federal programs to explore requesting funds from, and provide tips for successful applications.
