EDO Transformation and Change

Online

Build an EDO that can deliver on an expanding mandate.

As economic development organizations take on broader responsibilities, fragmented services and legacy structures can make progress harder to sustain. In this applied learning lab, Alex Robinson guides you through four areas of transformation: integration, impact, intelligence, and continuous change. Examine how your organization serves businesses, shares insight, and demonstrates results. You will identify practical improvements that connect teams and services around the outcomes your community needs.

Inside the learning lab

Complete an EDO Transformation Readiness Assessment, discuss organizational cases, and map a client journey to reveal gaps between teams. Prioritize opportunities with peer feedback and build a transformation roadmap with actions you can influence.

What you will gain

  • Assess organizational readiness against a structured transformation framework.
  • Identify service gaps and improve coordination across teams and client handoffs.
  • Design outcome-focused measures that communicate economic impact.
  • Apply intelligence-led approaches and sequence changes that strengthen organizational capability.

What you will take back

A Transformation Readiness Assessment, prioritized improvement opportunities, draft integrated client journey map, high-level transformation roadmap, and personal leadership action plan.

Who should join:

EDO executives, managers, and senior practitioners responsible for service delivery, organizational strategy, or change.

Bring an organizational challenge and map the changes that will help your EDO respond.
