Washington, DC – The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) welcomes Dr. Dell Gines, CEcD, a nationally renowned thought leader in economic development and entrepreneurship ecosystem building, as the Vice President of Partnerships, Advisory Services, and Thought Leadership.

Dell is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD), holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Finance, and a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska School of Public Administration. His work at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is recognized throughout the economic development and entrepreneurship professional circles. While at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, he focused on empowering communities of color and economically distressed, small, rural communities.
Dell has experience running non-profits on top of his work for the Federal Reserve, having led non-profits in Nebraska and securing significant grants to support operations and programming, as well as his contributions to a 2018 research report on Black women business startups, cited in PBS, Forbes, Black Enterprise, CNN Business, and Entrepreneur magazine.

Dell will join the IEDC team beginning Monday, March 6, 2023.
