EDPs must complete the recertification process with IEDC every 3 years.
The deadline by which the process has to be finished can be found in the chart below.

EDPs will receive notifications from IEDC as follows regarding their recertification.
Earn Activity Points & Attend Economic Development Ethics Workshop
EDPs must earn at least 8 Activity Points and attend at least 1 Economic Development Ethics Workshop. These points can be incurred at different activity levels (see examples here) and the workshop can be attended online or in-person with IEDC here.
Submit Recertification Application & Fee
EDPs must carefully read and submit an application by their given recertification deadline. The non-refundable recertification fee of $385.00 (Member) or $570.00 (Non-Member) must accompany the completed application. IEDC will notify EDPs of their recertification status shortly after receiving both the application and fee.
