What to Expect
The 2025 Rural Economic Development Retreat, will bring together 400–500 rural economic development leaders, practitioners, innovators and policymakers in Great Falls, Montana. This immersive event aims to bring together the rural economic development ecosystem to revitalize the vision for rural economic development by focusing on and celebrating the rich array of strategies and stories that make rural places special. By incorporating interactive, hands-on tours and workshops, this retreat will provide attendees with actionable tools and ideas to foster resilient rural communities.
By hosting this event in a rural place, the Rural Retreat will celebrate rural places and drive economic activity in a rural area, living the vision of rural prosperity.
