Amy Case Madison, CEcD, EDFP
Amy Madison, Executive Director of the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC), has served the organization since January 2014. During the past five years, she successfully recruited or assisted in expanding 18 projects with nearly $2 MM square feet of expansion on 212 acres and providing for 1159 new fulltime jobs and 650 seasonal jobs for local students. These projects added nearly $200MM to the local tax base for Pflugerville, the third fastest-growth city in the U.S according to the Census. Beyond recruitment, Amy oversees expansion projects, land sales, infrastructure projects and leases in the 130 Commerce Center, a 167-acre industrial park developed by the PCDC. Previously, Amy served six years as CEO of the Greater San Marcos Partnership (GSMP), and prior to that, served seven years as economic development director for the City of Schertz where she helped garner a 50-year supply of water and established a new industrial park.
She received a bachelor’s degree from Phillips University, a master’s degree at the University of Oklahoma, is an OU Economic Development Institute graduate, a Certified Economic Development Professional (CEcD), a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP), a Certified Public Manager (CPM) and an Economic Development Master Practitioner (EDMP). Amy is also a member of International Asset Management Council, TeamTexas, Texas One, Opportunity Austin, CleanTX, Texas Economic Development Council and the International Economic Development Council. Amy serves on the board for CleanTX and as Vice President of the A-T Children’s Project Board. As an advocate for A-TCP, she and her family have raised over $2.5 MM to fund research on ataxia telangiectasia, a rare childhood disease.
