Clyde Higgs
Clyde Higgs is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Atlanta BeltLine Inc., arguably the nation's largest ($5B) redevelopment project that will provide a network of public parks, multi-use trails and transit along a historic 22-mile railroad corridor circling downtown and connecting many neighborhoods directly and spurring economic development and job creation. Clyde has extensive experience in various fields such as Technology-led Economic Development, Urbanization, Commercial Real Estate, Technology Commercialization, Government Affairs and Strategy & Business/Start Up Incubation.
Prior to joining ABI in 2015, Clyde served as the Executive Vice President of a collaborative, multi-billion- dollar revitalization and economic development effort led by the state of North Carolina and real estate developer Castle & Cooke. Today, Clyde continues to foster his commitment for equitable redevelopment and improving the overall quality of life for Atlanta residents through his appointments to the Boards of Trees Atlanta and the City of Atlanta’s Affordable Housing Commission.
