With fewer deals currently available, increased competition from other
communities and pared-down budgets, EDOs need effective marketing plans to
succeed. Yet figuring out what information to deliver to site consultants – and
how to do it in a way that piques their interest – is a challenge. Are
newsletters, mugs, umbrellas, DVDs, or fam tours effective? What about detailed
data on the web, or advertising in various media? Which techniques are better
for certain targets, or particular community attributes?
Join IEDC on November 3 to hear site consultants discuss which marketing
strategies actually succeed in getting their attention.
In this web seminar, you will:
- Hear what site consultants are interested in learning about your community
- Discover how to deliver effective messages within your budget
- Have the opportunity to ask questions to site consultants regarding
marketing

About the Collaboration for Success Web Seminar Series
As many economic development organizations, have learned, it is impossible to
accomplish projects alone. By building strategic partnerships, economic
