From infrastructure and services to grocery stores, where you live plays a key role in how you live. For low and moderate income communities, particularly those of color, investments in these critical areas have not kept pace with more affluent places, at best, and at worst, they have been specifically excluded. Bridging the gap between economic equity and opportunity must include bold and decisive action to improve the places disadvantaged peoples live and work. Our discussion will include leading voices in the work of bringing economic equity and opportunity to every corner and cul de sac.
We understand that CEcDs have a constant yearning to grow and improve their knowledge and expertise in economic development. Therefore, the IEDC web seminars have been approved as professional development programs for recertification. The web seminars provide a convenient and cost-effective online environment for economic developers to learn about cutting-edge research, techniques, and tools that are prevalent in the field.
CEcDs participating in a minimum of three (3) web seminars during a three-year recertification cycle can now earn recertification credits. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact [email protected].
