Climate change is having damaging impacts that will only grow. At the same time, it offers opportunities to develop more resilient communities while also growing local economies. Economic development organizations have two major roles to play in response to climate change: helping communities mitigate disruptions and helping businesses prepare to take advantage of new market opportunities. This webinar spotlights the newest report from IEDC’s Economic Development Research Partners Program, which examines trends and impacts that climate change is likely to bring in regard to workforce, business retention and attraction, entrepreneurship, and more.
