Innovation Nexus fosters collaboration and synergy between EDO’s and University Research Park to create a connection point or platform where EDOs and University Parks can collaborate effectively. Leveraging the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and resources between universities and businesses within EDO's jurisdiction is one of the top ways to develop a skilled workforce that meets the needs of both academia and industry. Through technology commercialization, infrastructure development and policy development, the goal of the Innovation Nexus would be to create a dynamic ecosystem where universities, businesses, and economic development agencies work together synergistically to drive economic growth, and job creation within a region.
