This award celebrates an emerging professional who has demonstrated exceptional potential in economic development. The recipient shows a commitment to innovation, collaboration, and the advancement of economic development principles early in their career. This award honors an individual poised to make a significant and lasting impact on the field in the years to come.

Eligibility

The nominee:

  • Should have 5-10 years of professional experience in economic development or related fields.
  • Must have taken on leadership roles or responsibilities that indicate strong potential for future leadership within the economic development field.
  • Should have introduced innovative ideas, strategies, or projects that demonstrate their potential to shape the future of economic development.
  • Should have positively impacted their community or region, demonstrating a commitment to fostering economic growth and sustainability.
  • Should actively pursue professional development opportunities, such as continued education, certifications, or involvement in economic development organizations.
