Description
This award recognizes a local resident who, while not formally an economic development practitioner, has significantly contributed to advancing economic development efforts within their community or region.
Eligibility
The nominee:
- Must be a current resident of the community or region in which they have made a significant impact.
- Is not a professional or formally trained economic development practitioner but has contributed significantly to advancing economic development efforts.
- Must have demonstrated a measurable or meaningful impact on economic development within their community, whether through advocacy, leadership, or other efforts.
- Should have played a key leadership role or served as an advocate for policies, programs, or initiatives that have advanced economic development and community growth.
- Should show a sustained commitment to improving the well-being and prosperity of the community or region.
