Description
This award honors a staff member of a community-based organization whose efforts—through leadership, financial support, local investments, or workforce development—have significantly advanced regional economic development, contributing to long-term growth and prosperity.
Eligibility
The nominee:
- Must be a staff member of a community-based organization (e.g., university, community college, hospital, foundation, non-profit, etc.).
- Should have at least 1 year of service in their current role within the organization.
- Must have contributed to regional economic development through leadership, financial support, local investments, or workforce development.
- Should have exhibited leadership in advancing the organization’s mission, particularly in fostering economic growth and community development.
- Should have demonstrated a long-term commitment to improving the economic well-being of the region or community they serve.
